3. AI Processing & Data

Kairora uses AI to analyze your trading patterns and journal entries. When you trigger an AI insight:

• Relevant trade data and journal snippets are sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter)
• AI processing is limited to the data necessary for generating your insights
• AI responses are validated and cached to minimize repeated API calls
• We implement daily budget limits per user to control costs and data exposure

We do not use your personal trading data to train AI models. Your data is processed only to generate your personalized insights.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Cloud Storage: Your data is stored in PostgreSQL databases hosted on Railway (cloud infrastructure provider)
• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
• Backups: Automated database backups are performed before schema migrations
• Access Controls: Only authenticated users can access their own data via JWT authentication
• No Local-Only Mode: All data syncs to the cloud to survive device loss and enable multi-device access

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Kairora:

• Railway: Cloud hosting for our backend and database
• OpenRouter: AI inference for pattern analysis and insight generation
• Analytics (optional): We may use analytics services to understand app usage (with your consent where required)

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in these circumstances:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who process data on our behalf (hosting, AI, analytics)
